I'm a seasoned fitness coach based in Singapore and the UK, with over two decades of experience in the industry. This journey has taught me that fitness is just one piece of the larger puzzle of deep health, especially for those of us over 40. It's not just about getting stronger or leaner, but also about ageing well and performing daily tasks with ease. The key is to approach it intelligently, avoiding injuries, frustration, and burnout, particularly as we age.
Factors like lifestyle, stress management, sleep, nutrition quality, and hormonal balance are crucial in achieving sustainable progress. Simply attending random 45-minute classes and pushing yourself to the limit every day isn't the solution.

We'll chat over Zoom or Skype for about 45 minutes because we want to understand you - your habits, lifestyle, background, and health. Only then will we tailor a fitness program or recommend any necessary medical tests (getting your blood work done, for example) to ensure you're on the right track.
Once we have a better understanding of what your baselines look like, we could look into how to best structure your programming over the course of 3 to 6 months, depending on what you’re looking to accomplish.
Oftentimes we may choose to follow a movement practice for a variety of reasons. Some prefer it over traditional fitness because it focuses on developing a wide range of movement skills, such as mobility, strength, coordination, and agility, rather than just isolated muscle groups. Additionally, our approach often incorporates elements of play and exploration, which can make the training process more enjoyable for some individuals. It's important to remember that the best approach to fitness depends on individual preferences, goals, and physical capabilities, so what works for one person may not be the best choice for another.
